We then developed all business processes to support the Lean environment and streamlined roles and responsibilities of employees and developed KRAs in accordance with the new processes. We implemented Cell manufacturing and kanban systems in machine shop for bits and hammer components and established pull system for hammer assembly. Subsequently, we also implemented Kaizen for material handling and preparation in heat treatment furnace in order to reduce furnace loading times.
